Day 1
We arrived at Phuket airport at 8.15 Malaysia time (7.15 Thailand time). The driver took us to the hotel. We stayed at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa (go google..you won't regret). First day was just OK. After check-in I slept for a few hours while mum and sisters went down and walked around Patong beach (I was too tired because haven't had my sleep yet so I don't bother to go) .
Then off to lunch and jalan-jalan around town. Hurm..I think for me its hard to find a nice fine restaurant to eat or is it just me who's being really picky about food. 1 st day lunch and dinner the the food was tasteless except for the ohsofamous tom yam (paksa jer la makan walaupun tak makan tomyam sangat). You have to really cari la where is the best place to eat. Banyak sebenarnya makanan halal tapi taktau la asal macam tak jumpa haha. If you are lucky you will find someone that can speak malay so that they can understand what you really want hehe.
(Oh, we went there on 1st of January so its public holiday. Many shops/restaurant were closed. So macam susah juga la nak cari yang buka. Restaurant yang kiteorg nak pegi tutup but thank god pusing-pusing jumpa this one kedai that looks like mamak but its not called 'Haji Hassan'. Ingat bole cakap melayu tapi tak boleh pun. English lagi la...nasib baik ade driver huhu)
After lunch we walked around Robinson and bought some souvenir for my friends. Went back to the hotel and sambung tidur :p. Later at night we went to Phuket Fantasea to catched a show (I think its a musical theater) but sorry cameras are not allowed so no photos were taken during the show.
